Entries in this medium are for any digital media that is connected to a user and/or gives the user the ability to interact through technology.

Entry Type

  • Theatrical- This refers to any feature-length film. This includes any new film title that is released in theaters or at a film festival. This also includes any special engagement content in theaters. This also includes any entries promoting a movie studio.


Categories

  • Apps- Entries in this category are for native or web applications developed for mobile devices, smartphones and/or tablets with the purpose of promoting a movie title, brand or studio.
  • Augmented, Mixed, Virtual Reality - Entries in this category include technology created to stimulate and immerse the user by allowing them to interact with 3D worlds.
  • Banners, Disruptors, Takeovers - Entries in this category include various over-the-page units such as floating ads, page takeovers, and tear-backs as well as more traditional banner ads.
  • Microsite, Website- Entries in this category are for the collection of related web pages with the purpose of advertising a specific game title or console and additional links or web pages provided through its parent site that adds value to a movie title, brand, or studio.
  • Original Games- Entries in this category include interactive games that live online, in an app, or social media and are developed to promote a particular movie title, brand, or studio and typically are not for sale.
  • Other - Entries in this category are for work not defined by any of the available categories.

 

Entry Fees

April 10th - June 14th: $375

June 15th - July 12th: $475

July 13th - Aug 2nd: $575

Campaigns

This medium type is eligible for campaign entries.

  • Campaigns consist of 2 or more pieces in the same medium and category.

This medium type is eligible for mixed campaign entries.

  • Mixed Campaigns consist of 2 or more pieces in the same medium, but different categories.

For judging purposes, please submit your entry in English.  Non-English entries must be dubbed in English.  In addition, you must also provide an English translation in the “English-Language Translation” box on the entry form.
